Cafe Eden Redecoration. Jan 2 – Jan 4

A fantastic effort by  the Members, Volunteers and Staff to redecorate the Cafe.

Many thanks to all who helped do the Cafe last week!
Cafe Eden is once again officially open for business after a hard 3 days work of painting and redecorating.
We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Before:

From January 2nd to the 4th members, volunteers and staff of Bolton STEPs worked tirelessly to redecorate the cafe giving it a brand new, amazing look.

Those of you who have visited us in the past will have known that before the cafe was re-done earlier this January it was white, cream and red. After the cafe had been done, the cafe looks as good as new and is a massive improvement to how it was previously. None of this could have been done however, without the help of the members, volunteers and staff who had taken the time to do this.

 

After:

New chairs to match the new color scheme of the Cafe.
Hessian and Overtly Olive are now the key colors in the cafe.

It looks fantastic but don’t take our work for it. Pop by, have a brew and see for yourself!

At Cafe Eden this December from the 3rd t the 20th.

Bookings can STILL be made for the beginning of the month.

Bookings for later in the month (After Monday the 10th) can be taken up until December the 5th.

£2.00 per person is required as a deposit for the booking.

2 courses – £8.95
3 courses – £9.95

All meals will be served with a glass of sparkling grape juice, coffee & mince pies and includes festive novelties.

Christmas Festivities – Cafe Eden

Its the final week before the Christmas rush!
Starting on Monday the 3rd of December at Cafe Eden, Christmas lunches will be being served to those lucky people who have booked with us!

Carrying on until December 20th.
Booking may still be taken a few days in advance of the day you request to have your meal.

All that is required upon your booking is your name, telephone number, a specified time you’d like to have your meal, a deposit of £2.00 per person and if possible what you would like to have to eat.
( Specifications on what you would like to eat may be taken later if not all members have decided )

What Makes Cafe Eden Different?

Cafe Eden is a training Cafe where people can work in a busy environment and at the same time gain skills that will help them move into voluntary work, further education or employment.

It is part of the Bolton Steps network, which seeks to educate, preserve and protect the good health of people who experience mental health problems within the Borough of Bolton by providing support and training.

The Cafe provides:Opportunities to gain new skills,
The chance to try different activities to gain confidence in many different aspects,
Training in IT skills,
Catering,
Customer care skills and confidence building,
The option to train for qualifications
The opportunity to work as part as a team.

Cafe Eden & Outside Catering

Cafe Eden
Based at the Victoria Hall in Bolton, Cafe Eden is a training cafe where people can build up a variety of different skills.

Members and Volunteers
The cafe is open from 9 am till 3 pm and the amount of hours the individual wishes to work can be built up over time.

STEPS Outside Catering
The catering service is run in conjunction with cafe Eden and offers work work placements in order to provide training and work placements in a quieter environment.
